Dutch Hat Walk

Op zondag 19 april organiseren Marga van der Bos en Suzanne Jonker de tweede “Dutch Hat Walk”.

Na de geweldige start van de eerste editie Dutch Hat Walk vorig jaar waar we met een kleurrijke groep van vijftig mensen met hoed door de binnenstad van Haarlem liepen, organiseren we dit jaar voor de tweede keer de Dutch Hat Walk Haarlem. We nodigen je uit om je bij ons aan te sluiten en loop mee met een mooie, leuke, ludieke, zelfgemaakte of gekochte hoed, fascinator of hoofddeksel op je hoofd en laat zien hoe het straatbeeld daarvan opvrolijkt.

We verzamelen vanaf 14:00 uur bij het beeld van Kenau-Ripperda, Stationsplein Haarlem.

Vandaar vertrekken we om 14:30 uur voor een wandeling van ongeveer een uur door het centrum van Haarlem en eindigen op de Grote Markt. Er kan na de wandeling op eigen gelegenheid en kosten nog een drankje/hapje genuttigd worden op een terrasje.

Deelname aan de Dutch Hat Walk is gratis maar we vinden het fijn als je je aanmeldt via info@nederlandsehoedenvereniging.nl

On Sunday 19 April, Marga van der Bos and Suzanne Jonker are organising the second Dutch Hat Walk.

Following the fantastic start of the first Dutch Hat Walk last year, where we walked through the city centre of Haarlem with a colourful group of fifty people wearing hats, we are organising the Dutch Hat Walk Haarlem for the second time this year. We invite you to join us and walk with a beautiful, fun, playful, homemade or purchased hat, fascinator or headwear on your head and show how it brightens up the streetscape.

We will gather at 2 p.m. at the statue of Kenau-Ripperda, Stationsplein Haarlem.

From there, we will depart at 2:30 p.m. for a walk of about an hour through the centre of Haarlem, ending at the Grote Markt. After the walk, you are welcome to enjoy a drink or snack at a terrace at your own expense.

Participation in the Dutch Hat Walk is free, but we would appreciate it if you could register via info@nederlandsehoedenvereniging.nl.
